About Us
Belle Visage Day Spa was founded in Milton in 1994 by co-owners
Stacy Winick and Sofia Goldberg.
Stacy is a native
Bostonian, and Sophia is a native of Russian who emigrated to Israel
before becoming a United States citizen. Sofia trained as an
aesthetician in Israel and has been on the cutting edge of the
beauty profession since 1982. Stacy began training as a manicurist
while studying communications in college, and opened her first shop
on the Cape during the summer months before opening Belle Visage.
They met 20 years ago while working at a South Shore
salon. Their business plan led them directly to the town of Milton,
where they realized they could offer the same, if not better,
services as the high end salons of Newbury Street, without the cost
and inconvenience.
Stacy lives in Milton with her
husband and two daughters. Sofia lives in Sharon with her husband,
Itzak and her dog, Lucy, and enjoys spending her free time with her
grandchildren.
The salon derives its name Belle Visage,
from the French for "beautiful face." Despite the economy and
competition in the salon business, Belle Visage has thrived since
its inception, thanks to its professional and friendly staff and
loyal customer base.
